- Contact information: name, mailing/property address, email address, phone number
- Booking and scheduling information: property details, inspection date/time, access instructions
- Payment information: billing address and payment method details, processed through a third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers
- Voluntary health-context information: if Client chooses to share the reason for requesting an inspection (e.g., a referral from a medical or environmental health practitioner), we may retain that context solely to serve Client; we do not require or solicit medical details and treat anything volunteered as sensitive information under Section 4
- Website usage information: pages visited, browser type, and similar analytics data collected automatically via cookies or similar technologies
- Communications: emails, phone calls, or messages exchanged with Company
2.How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Schedule, confirm, and perform booked inspections, including coordinating travel
- Process payments and send invoices or receipts
- Communicate with Client about a booking, including cancellation, rescheduling, or the statutory right to cancel described in our Terms and Conditions
- Deliver inspection reports and, where requested, coordinate referrals to independent industrial hygienists or remediation professionals
- Improve the Site and our Services, and respond to inquiries
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions
We do not use health-context information Client voluntarily shares for marketing or advertising purposes, and do not sell it.
3.How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:
- Payment processors, scheduling software, and email/communications vendors that process data on our behalf, solely to provide the Services
- Independent industrial hygienists or remediation professionals, but only when Client requests or authorizes the referral and the specific information needed to make that connection
- Government authorities, when required by law, subpoena, or legal process
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to this Policy or a materially similar one
4.Sensitive Information
If Client voluntarily discloses health-related context (for example, symptoms or a practitioner referral) in connection with booking an inspection, Company treats this as sensitive personal information: it is used only to serve Client's specific request, is not used for profiling or targeted advertising, and is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described in Section 2 and our records-retention obligations.
5.Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site may use cookies or similar technologies to support basic functionality and to understand aggregate Site usage. Client can control cookies through browser settings; disabling cookies may affect Site functionality. Company honors recognized browser-based opt-out signals (such as the Global Privacy Control) as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information, to the extent applicable.
6.Your Privacy Rights
Regardless of state of residence, Company will honor requests, submitted to the contact information in Section 10, to:
- Access the categories and specific pieces of personal information Company holds about Client
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete personal information, subject to legal or legitimate business retention needs (e.g., completed transaction records, tax and accounting requirements)
- Opt out of any future sale or sharing of personal information (Company does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising)
Company will not discriminate against Client for exercising these rights. Company will verify identity before fulfilling a request, using information already on file.
7.Data Retention
Company retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including any applicable legal, accounting, or tax retention requirements, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.
8.Data Security
Company uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Company cannot guarantee absolute security.
